Where Waters Meet -Marina Del Rey Parking Structure- Marina for All

In February I received news I was one of 3 applicants for a large civic improvement project in Marina Del Rey. This was the largest project I have ever been chosen for, larger than the 105 foot long mural at the Police Facility of LAX airport. I worked for 2 months in an unrelenting manner on my proposal.

I was in competition with two internationally recognized architectural offices, I was glad to be in the running. I learned last week that the project went to someone else, but I am satisfied with work I created. I was told it was close and that many on the jury felt that I answered the call asking for a recognition of the environment, native peoples and history of the Marina Del Rey Harbor
